Cancellation Policy
This cancellation policy applies to the scheduling of appointments with MotionMate Training.
Life gets in the way, we totally understand. The need to cancel or reschedule your appointment with us may arise from time to time. To ensure we provide a clear and fair treatment process for our practitioners and clients alike, we have implemented a three-stage cancellation policy, highlighted below.
Standard cancellation (more than 12 hours prior)
Cancellations of appointments made more than 12 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time will incur no charge to you. Simply get in touch with us to cancel or reschedule your appointment without paying a dime.Short-notice cancellation (between 4 to 12 hours prior)
Cancellations of appointments made between 4 to 12 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time will incur a fee 50% of the full appointment amount. We kindly suggest you take note of this policy and encourage you to cancel within the standard cancellation period where possible to avoid a fee.Late cancellation (less than 4 hours prior)
Cancellations of appointments made within 4 hours of the scheduled appointment time will incur the a fee equal to the full amount of the appointment. This late of a cancellation typically leaves insufficient time for our practitioners to attempt to re-fill the spot for someone else. We greatly appreciate your attention to this policy and encourage any necessary action to avoid this where possible.
Rescheduling policy
Please attempt to reschedule within the standard cancellation period (more than 12 hours prior) to avoid any fees and accommodate others.
Rescheduling within the short notice period (between 4-12 hours prior) will incur a 50% fee, credited to your rescheduled appointment.
Late rescheduling (within 4 hours prior) may not be possible and may result in the full fee being charged.
Policy exceptions
Medical certificate
The provision of a valid and timely (within 1 week of your scheduled appointment) medical certificate or documentation alongside your cancellation request will void all cancellation fees. We understand the need for flexibility and that some things can’t be planned. Please provide the relevant documentation to chad.mclean@motionmatetraining.com.au.24-Hour Flex Rule
If the appointment is rescheduled to a new time within 24 hours of the original appointment time, fees may be avoided.
Please note that this cancellation policy applies to all appointment types, virtual and in-person.
